Disk Cleanup
This is a very important step that should be done prior to scandisking and defragging your hard drive.
Go to your start bar
Go to Programs
Go to Accessories
Go to System Tools
Go to Disk Cleanup
You will be taken to this box
Please select the appropriate Drive. On my PC it is "C". You may or may not have additional drives or a different name to your Hard Drive. Once selected click OK. You will then be taken to the next step. Go ahead and Delete the unnecessary files. I just gained 250 megs of space. How did you do?
